A journal dedicated to the life and mission of St. Gaspar del Bufalo, and to a life lived in response to the call and the cry of the Most Precious Blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our on-going mission is to share good news of hope and communion.

just call me a yo-yo, or as Sr. Madeline would often say, a boomerang.

It was an interesting drive. Last Monday we started in pouring rain in Northern California, spent the first night in Needles, CA, second night in Albuquerque, NM where we got there early enough to catch a showing of Return of the King. Even though that kept us up very late we still got an early start the next morning and made it as far as Oklahoma City for night three. Night four was spent at the Convent of the CPPS sisters in O'Fallon, MO near St. Louis. Night five and six are spent at home in Chicago where now I am watching the falling snow (6-8 inches) and pack for an early morning flight to Baltimore. I will be back in California in less than a week. See what I mean by Yo-yo. The Baltimore trip is very quick and there will be no time for blogging. In fact the computer will remain in Chicago. I will be back Tuesday night.

There are seven of us flying into Baltimore from various places; we are renting a van for the drive to Columbia, PA. There at the Precious Blood Spiritual Center the 2005 Congress team will be meeting. The Congress is titled, One Name, A Thousand Voices and will be held in August 2005 in Dayton, OH.
