A journal dedicated to the life and mission of St. Gaspar del Bufalo, and to a life lived in response to the call and the cry of the Most Precious Blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our on-going mission is to share good news of hope and communion.

Delight

So our spirituality calls us to celebrate the little victories:

1. I am delighted that I am feeling so well, no pain meds this week at all, scar is healing nicely. I can do no heavy lifting, but sitting and standing is almost normal, and there is only minor discomfort. The doc took the bangage and padding off today so the scar is open to the air. It does look pretty ugly but I am going to win no beauty contest anyway and this is not swimsuit weather in Chicago anyway.

2. I am delighted that I am almost finished paying bills and that the annual report is done. A week of data entry is behind me and there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

3. I am delighted that there is some great conversation going on with the blog. It has mostly been generous and respectful even when we disagree. Readership has doubled in the past week thanks to Joan of Bark, The Saintly Salmagundi, Sursum Corda, and Bill Cork.
