Christmas messages

I got Christmas messages from all over the world. I am on several email lists and the messages came from Rome and South Africa. One of the biggest joys was a message from a Retrouvaille couple in South Africa. I suppose one of the biggest surprises was the one below. Mostly I get copies of talks and other messages from the Congrgation for the Clergy, but this was a delight to read.

Dear Priests,

In the light of the great Mystery of Bethlehem, my sincere wish for you is, that you may experience the joy of the contemplation of the Child Jesus, who is given to us by the Virgin Mother.

"May Christ dwell in your hearts through faith; may you be rooted and founded in love. All of this so that you may understand with all the holy ones the width, the length, the height and the depth – in a word, that you may know the love of Christ which surpasses all knowledge, that you may be filled and reach the fullness of God.“ (Eph 3, 17-19)
