Progress?

I had never read The Tablet before. One correspondent recommends it. It looks like a good journal. I may add it to my list. One article I found intriguing is this one on
Progress on the Liturgy.

I would be delighted with a new sacramentary finally. The current one seems tired and dreary at times.

One hopeful sign is that the intent is a more a more "elevated" and "sacral" translation which "moves the reader towards the original rather than the original towards the reader".

However, I really cannot believe that they would translate homines always as "men." I really dislike most inclusive language but the use of "men" does sound a bit unreasonable.
