A journal dedicated to the life and mission of St. Gaspar del Bufalo, and to a life lived in response to the call and the cry of the Most Precious Blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our on-going mission is to share good news of hope and communion.

Greetings from hot and steamy Rome. This is one one full free day we have in this five week course. I slept in a bit, and then took the 85 bus into the old city where I met Fr. Jerry Stack and a few others for Mass at San Francesco Saverio, a place known as Caravita. They have a mass there on Sunday mornings in English. The music was wonderful. The ambiance was delightful. the homily was ok. The homily started out well, but then headed for the stratosphere and never came back. But then, this is the kind of church that would make your mind and heart head for the stratosphere anyway.

Then we had a lovely lunch at a place called "The Sacristy." It is now late afternoon and I ducked into this bookstore/internet cafe because it is cooler in here. It is a nice little break. There is a concert tonight at San Ignazio and I am thinking of going. It does not start until 9:00pm.

We have one more week for classes and then head off to San Felice for a seven day retreat
