A journal dedicated to the life and mission of St. Gaspar del Bufalo, and to a life lived in response to the call and the cry of the Most Precious Blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our on-going mission is to share good news of hope and communion.

A great time

The talk today was given by Don Beniamino Conti, CPPS, probably, next to Fr. Ray Cera, one of the premier Gaspar scholars in the world. His talk was very animated and inspiring. It gives us great encouragement of our devotion to an promotion of Precious Blood Spirituality. We hear more from him this afternoon.

The group work today was fun. There were three langauges in the group. I was the only one who spoke English. There were priest members in the group from Italy, Chile, Poland, Peru, Germany and USA. To hear the differences and to experience how much we have in common was truly inspiring.

Today Mass was celebrated in Polish. This is a language I do not find very easy. I was grateful that they switched to Latin for the Consecration.

Yesterday at Mass there was a rather significant moment, when each continent rose to pour wine into the chalice during the preparation of the table. At that moment we prayed for each of the countries represented and especially where life is lost unjustly or blood is shed.
