A journal dedicated to the life and mission of St. Gaspar del Bufalo, and to a life lived in response to the call and the cry of the Most Precious Blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our on-going mission is to share good news of hope and communion.

From St. Gaspar

"God has no need of people in his work; we are the ones who reap benefits from his Society. The Lord will multiply his gifts for those who remain and it will be sufficient that on our part we do what is required of us. In addition to that, through prayer, let us place it in God's hands, and let us never cease to take counsel with one another as the opportunities arise. Let us surrender our own will in all things and we shall have died to ourselves. "

"Pray that I may be able to correspond fully, through my holy vocation in the ministry, to the objectives which the most loving God intends."

"Three things: 1. Let us adhere to what is ordinary; let us live in a simple way, and then, if God should will some special thing, he will manifest it. 2. Have a great trust in the most lovable Lord. 3. Do not harbor excessive concerns; rather, internally, abandon yourself to the supreme will of Almighty God."

"With God's help, you are to remain tranquil, and more and more build up your courage. Of ourselves, we are able to do nothing; but we can do everything, with God's help. May his grace be our support."

"Think no longer about the past. Do not be the cause of your own crosses. Live joyfully with the Center of every good gift...the will of God. May this be our mystical food, our comfort, and our every good. Let us live in God, for God and with God."

"Once the will of God is recognized, three steps are acquired. First, to carry it out in such a way as to avoid faults; second, to carry it out with the very decisive and magnanimous attitude of wishing to live only to do what God wills; third, to train yourself gradually to do the will of God on earth as it is done in heaven. This requires time, prayer and effort."
