A journal dedicated to the life and mission of St. Gaspar del Bufalo, and to a life lived in response to the call and the cry of the Most Precious Blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our on-going mission is to share good news of hope and communion.

Doings

Yesterday
Easy day
Prepared another Easter dinner, this time for my house and the Carmelites across the street. Apparently they could smell the garlic over there.

Today
Interprovincial Formation Advisory ad hoc meeting
Pack for tomorrow's trip to St. Louis.

The amazing thing about this morning's Emmaus Gospel is the focus on the emotions. They were just recounting the events, but when Jesus is recognized they recount their emotions. "Were not our hearts burning within us.." The same dynamic occurs in the first reading.

Jesus accompanies us in our sorrows. He travels with us and nourishes us with his very presence and his flesh and blood. Jesus is present with you now. It is time to rejoice.
