A journal dedicated to the life and mission of St. Gaspar del Bufalo, and to a life lived in response to the call and the cry of the Most Precious Blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our on-going mission is to share good news of hope and communion.

Community

You meet the nicest people in this ministry. Downtown Oakland was a bit soggy today, but made all the more warmer with a pleasant lunch with
Peter Nixon.

Vacation

It is very wet and windy today as a new storm front hits the west coast. It is a quiet morning in the Province Center. The days are getting filled up with visits and dinners with friends. Last night was like step back in time, dinner with a group of friends that had not been together since '91. Our hey-day as a choir was 1978-1983. It was great story-telling.

I should be able to blog briefly each day, but I am getting to be somewhat in vacation mode. I love the prayers of these days. Each evening I chant the "O" antiphons to the old tone and sing the Magnificat in the quiet little chapel here.
